CHESSA Inter-Club Chess Championship.

Entries for the National Club Championships, to be hosted by Western Province from the 28th to the 30th November, are progressing well. So far 30 clubs have entered and will be sending 40 teams.

Remember that the cut-off for registration is Wednesday, 26 November.

Especially pleasing are the number of entrants from outside the Western Province which include strong clubs from the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, Northern Cape and the Free State.

Is this the start of the South African version of the hugely popular European Club Championships?
